Presentation by Bracebridge Leo Club

Steve Woolman, Camp Manager attended the Bracebridge Leo's Club,
Awards and Donations Luncheon on June 25th and these16 Young Ladies
and Gentlemen gave out checks of over $4,400.00 to local charities,
Lions Camp Dorset getting $500.00 that will buy the hot dogs and
buns for the 2008 camp season.
These 16 young people are very active in the Bracebridge area and did a
great job at the luncheon with some good laughs and one of the lions from
Bracebridge Lion Al Watson recited Sam Magee from start to finish.

The Beeton Lions had this stone cut and donated it to camp!

Lions Doug and Bill along with the help of Garnett Yates came to camp on
Saturday the 1st of Sept and with the forms already built in stalled the
stone on a concrete base.
Pop Tabs

Lion Herb Taylor leaving for the city with a
truck load of pop tabs that were saved by school children, Lions & Lioness
clubs and friends of Lion's Camp Dorset.
All moneys go to the camp!
There is 1140 LB in this load.
The scooter was donated to the camp
by Ancaster Lions Club

Lion PDDG Chris and Lion Willie Kruter delivered it on Monday, Aug. 6/07
In the picture on the scooter is Pattie McLean and her husband. Pattie is
a nurse who did
work at camp and now is here with her husband who was on dialysis at the
time.

Lion Len Hallman special donation
Lion Len Hallman (on the right) has donated an electric motor to the
camp in memory of his late wife Shirley who was a Dialysis patients who had
been to camp.
Len and Shirley where also here on work weekends.
