...how to get to the resort (click for MAP)

A. To get to the resort you first have to get to Kawagama Lake Road in Dorset:
from Southwest Ontario:
  1. 401 East to 400 North
  2. 400 North turns into Hwy 11
  3. Hwy #11 North to just past Bracebridge
  4. Hwy #117 East all the way to Hwy #35 (at Dorset)
  5. Hwy #35 North (left turn)
  6. Proceed a short distance, over a bridge (while on the bridge if you look to your left you will see the tower of Dorset,)
  7. Continue past Tower Hill Marina on your right
  8. Turn RIGHT at the next road (Kawagama Lake Road)
  9. Go to Step B below
 From Hamilton and Niagara:
  1. QEW East to the 427 North
  2. 427 North to 401 East
  3. 401 East to 400 North
  4. 400 North turns into Hwy 11
  5. Hwy #11 North to just past Bracebridge
  6. Hwy #117 East all the way to Hwy #35 (at Dorset)
  7. Hwy #35 North (left turn)
  8. Proceed a short distance, over a bridge ( while on the bridge if you look to your left you will see the tower of Dorset,)
  9. Continue past Tower Hill Marina on your right
  10. Turn RIGHT at the next road (Kawagama Lake Road)
  11. Go to Step B below
from Western GTA and Toronto:
  1. 401 East to 400 North
  2. 400 North turns into Hwy 11
  3. Hwy #11 North to just past Bracebridge
  4.  Hwy #117 East all the way to Hwy #35 (at Dorset)
  5. Hwy #35 North (left turn)
  6. Proceed a short distance, over a bridge ( while on the bridge if you look to your left you will see the tower of Dorset,)
  7. Continue past Tower Hill Marina on your right
  8. Turn RIGHT at the next road ( Kawagama Lake Road)
  9. Go to Step B below
 From Eastern GTA:
  1. Hwy #35 north all the way to Dorset.
  2. Watch for Hwy #117 just outside Dorset
  3. Proceed a short distance, over a bridge ( while on the bridge if you look to your left you will see the tower of Dorset,)
  4. Continue past Tower Hill Marina on your right
  5. Turn RIGHT at the next road ( Kawagama Lake Road)
  6. Go to Step B below

 This is a more scenic route with less traffic but fewer places to stop for gasoline, etc.
from Eastern Ontario:
  1. Hwy #60 West to Hwy 35 (at Dwight)
  2. Hwy #35 South to Dorset
  3. Look for the Dorset Lookout Tower (on your right)
  4. Continue past the Nordic Inn (on your left)
  5. Turn LEFT at the next road (Kawagama Lake Road)
  6. Go to Step B below
 from Northern Ontario:

  1. Hwy #11 South to Hwy #60 (at Huntsville)

  2. Hwy #60 East to Hwy #35 (at Dwight)

  3. Hwy #35 South to Dorset

  4. Look for the Dorset Lookout Tower ( on your right)
  5. Continue past the Nordic Inn (on your left)
  6. Turn LEFT at the next road ( Kawagama Lake Road)
  7. Go to Step B below
B. To get to the resort from Kawagama Lake Road:
Now that you are on Kawagama Lake road:
  1. Proceed a short distance to the first intersection.
  2. Turn RIGHT (you are still on Kawagama Lake Road)
  3. Proceed to the second intersection 
  4. TURN RIGHT
  5. Proceed to the Lions Camp Dorset sign (you will see this on your right)
  6. Turn RIGHT on to the gravel road and follow this to the Medical Centre to check-in
