Lions Camp Dorset Information Update

Lions Camp Dorset has a wide variety of units available for visitors. The cottages and efficiency units are fully equipped. However, guests must bring their own bedding, towels and food for the week. As there is no television reception, guests may want to bring a portable DVD player. There is a TV with DVD and VCR in the gathering room of the Community Centre only.

14	Cottages	$400/week (based on 6 people) ^*
	Every cottage is equipped with: three bedrooms (with various bed sizes;) a living room; a 3 or 4 piece bathroom and; a well-equipped kitchen. Some cottages have a deck. Each has a picnic table with either lawn chairs or Muskoka chairs. The cottages are designed for family use to ensure the entire family can spend their holiday together.

15	Efficiency Units	$250/week (based on 2 people) *
	The efficiency units are essentially self contained bachelor apartments. They contain: a three piece bathroom equipped with a wheelchair friendly shower enclosure; a kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave and all necessary eating and cooking utensils; a living room area; and a double or twin beds. Units have radiant in floor heating There are garden doors which open out to a patio walkway equipped with lawn chairs. . These units are designed for couples.

6	Trailer & Camping Spaces (with hookups)	$150/week ^**
	These sites all have electrical and sewage hookups. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Fire wood is provided for free. The campground area also has its own washroom and shower facilities.

*	Cottage occupancy is based on up to 6 people (family and/or friends). Efficiency occupancy is based on 2 people OR a family unit i.e. Mother, Father & 2 small children Guest fees for cottages and efficiencies: Adults (ages 13 and up) $20.00/person/day to a maximum of $100.00/person/week Children (ages 3-12) $10.00/person/day to a maximum of $50.00/person/week Children under the age of 3 are free.
**	Guests of Trailer Park clients are charged $5.00/day or $25.00/week.
	Those Clients unable to cover the cost of accommodation can approach their Renal Social Worker to obtain assistance through The Kidney Foundation Patient Assistance Program. Please make cheques payable to Lions Camp Dorset. Indicating on your cheque or money order the week you are attending camp as well as the name of your dialysis unit. Send your $50.00 deposit and...
