In the spring and fall,
Camp Dorset becomes a photographers paradise. From the first blooms in spring
to the multitude of cascading colours in the fall, there is never a time when
the magnificence of the surrounding areas is not a plethora of splendor and
awe. Nearby hikers can enjoy one of numerous trails including the trail to the
top of the Dorset Scenic Tower. Take in one of colorful cruises aboard the
Lady Muskoka or Lake of Bays Cruise Liners. If you like arts and crafts, there
are always galleries and shows to attend. If you're a shopping enthusiast,
head to one of the local stores to check out their wares.
In the winter, Camp Dorset becomes a winter wonderland. It is situated in the heart of the most picturesque snowmobile trails in the province. The 14 fully winterized cottages, and 15 efficiency units can be rented nightly or weekly. As well, enjoy all of the facilities of the camp itself .... |
